Track Creation Quickstart

Create your first Agent Track and see it in action.

Prerequisites

  • A text editor
  • An AI agent that supports Agent Tracks (e.g., Haijun Code)

Step 1: Create the track directory

mkdir my-review-track
cd my-review-track

Step 2: Create TRACK.md

Create a file called TRACK.md with the following content:

---
name: code-review
description: Review code changes for quality, security, and best practices
---

# Code Review

You are performing a code review. Follow these steps:

1. Read the changed files carefully
2. Check for security vulnerabilities (SQL injection, XSS, etc.)
3. Verify error handling is complete
4. Assess code readability and maintainability
5. Look for performance issues
6. Provide constructive feedback

## Output Format

For each issue found:
- **File**: path/to/file.ext
- **Line**: number
- **Severity**: critical | warning | suggestion
- **Description**: What the issue is and how to fix it

Step 3: Test the track

Open your project with Haijun Code and the track will be automatically discovered. You can verify it's loaded by asking:

What tracks are available?

Step 4: Use the track

Ask your agent to review code:

Review the changes in my last commit for quality and security issues

The agent will load your track instructions and follow them during the review.
